How can anyone criticize Danny Garcia with his resume, titles and record?

    DSG is 29-0. He unified the division By beating Morales and Khan. He then beat Judah (in Brooklyn) and Matthysse (who everyone claimed he was scared to fight. Isn't he allowed a soft touch..?

    Reasons Garcia is widely hated at the moment:

    -high profile and talented to some high degree
    -his father
    -American
    -undefeated
    -beaten fighters with huge fan bases in Morales, Khan, and Matthysse
    -the official victor of a high profile "robbery" against Herrera
    -"you're only as good as your last fight;" see above
    -Rod Salka is one of the least deserving opponents to someone as highly ranked as Garcia in recent memory

    Don't forget Theophane, he lost that one too. Undefeated my a$$. Not particularly talented and being American is nothing to do with it.

    he didnt unify the division you muppet. unless you call winning 2 of the 4 belts....one of which was against a fat, former BANTAM weight champ :lol:
    he gave judah is 8th loss
    yes he beat Matthyse but got his ass handed to him by a cherry pick in Herrera
    and then went on to fight a 77th ranked light weight at welter.

    Personally I find his father incredibly entertaining, someone blissfully unaware they are a buffoon, ratings gold, he and Ruben should have a reality show.

    Breidis Prescott? Could just as easily say particularly talented fighters don't lose to Theophane and Herrera.

    There's nothing special about Danny Garcia, let's not pretend otherwise.

    I understand the criticism of the salka fight, but not Danny himself, he's had a great run of opponents. Can't get my head around the hatred.
