How can anyone criticize Danny Garcia with his resume, titles and record?

No fight that ended the way the Khan fight did deserves a rematch. I remember people saying the Morales rematch was pointless too. I doubt he'll give Herrera won because Herrera will most likely beat him again.

 

Just like not giving Matthysse or Herrera is worthy of criticism. One thing I dislike about the modern fight game is it's way easier for a champion not to rematch their toughest challengers than it should be.

 

Guy beat Matthyse.. legit beat Matthyse.

Not like Devon and Zab did.. where it was highly questionable... no.. he went toe to toe and beat Matthyse.

He had a tougher than expected fight in his last outing.. which it was pretty clear he hadn't recovered from the Lucas fight... taking an easy fight made sense..

If he takes another soft touch after a very clear victory.. then yeah... criticize the guy.. but right now? He needed the Salka fight to get his mojo back.

Pretty much this. He's a good fighter but his resume gets over-rated and his opponent selection is boring for the most part.

 

Exactly, Herrera even admitted that he thought the fight was close, that tells you all you need to know.

I don't dislike DSG (well, he comes across as a bit of a tit, but what the hell) as a fighter. He's got solid skills and is a good all-rounder. I certainly never criticised his resume, and gave him full props for beating Matthysse.

But yeah... Rod fkin Salka? That, right there, deserves criticism.

 

there is no sense in trying to reason with haters. it's quite simple if you understand that hate is a bitches emotion. men do not partake.

 

Why??? He knocked Khan silly. Did Khan give Maidana a rematch? The only boxer/s that should be getting a rematch is Herrera and maybe Lucas.

 

Exactly, you can't get battered across the ring and then brutally knocked out in 4 rounds and then claim you deserve a rematch.

The Herrera fight obviously warrants a rematch, the matthysse fight was close, competitive and entertaining enough that I'd want to see a rematch, especially if matthysses eye doesn't shut again.

It seems slow and telegraphed but he always finds a way to land it
