I just think, how many fights ago was Danny himself considered a 'cherry-pick'? If Joe Louis had a Bum every month surely this Garcia can have an easy fight.

The criticism comes from his resume being a bit overrated, getting a gift against Herrera and his last fight being an absolute farce against an opponent who isn't remotely close to good enough to be in the ring with him. Simple as that. Matthysse is clearly his best win, and he had plenty of bad moments in that fight, but finished well. Obviously he looked decent against Khan, but so did Julio Diaz.

That said, he's only 26 and therefore has plenty of time to add quality opponents to his resume.

His titles, resume and record make what he did even worse.

Absolutely. Foreign fighters get no breaks against American judges in Vegas. This is well known.
