How can anyone definitively say that Hopkins faked those low blows?

Exactly. The ham acting IS cheating, pure and simple. Ruiz "won" several fights in this disgraceful manner. I'm a Hopkins fan, but he shouldn't be let off the hook for this.

However, it's still important to remember that he only started pulling this sort of **** after his skills went south. Ruiz had no skills to begin with, which is why he cheated THROUGHOUT his misbegotten career.

I do think it was a low blow. I was like scratching my head regarding Kellerman's comments, it is right in front of them when they played the clip-clear as day low blow.

Low blow my arse. He managed to get his biggest breather in the fight and he needed it. Saying that, it's just bending the rules to your advantage...nothing wrong with that...once.

    Both clearly cheating.

So you would say that Hopkins was putting on a performance the first time and faking it the second?

    HAHAHAHA

Hopkins was gassed to ****, and most likely would have hit the deck without the breathers he got, he was ****ed in the last rounds and most likely wouldnt have continued at the intense level the fight was going.

The bull**** excuses are now getting very very pathetic.

It was a light slap that didn't even hit him in the crotch area but above it. He was being a ***** about it and probably tried to have points docked from Calzaghe as well. The second attempt that wasn't granted was just as pathetic. He should've been taken a point for faking low blows and illegally catching a breather.

Here's a self-proclaimed tough street guy who bends over and cries after a slap from a 8 oz glove, not even on his privates with a protective cup over it as well.

Those foam cups can take a solid shot before you are going to get hurt. It is true. Hopkins was not hit by a solid shot. He was hit by a light punch, and it was a few inches high from where it needed to be. Hopkins acting was utter crap. He needed a breather and took it.

In addition, when fighters are hit low, they often show some form of anger. Hopkins wasn't angry at all. He was just glad to catch a breather. I am glad the crowd booed his antics.

Actually, that's probably where his nuts were. Some of you need to take an anatomy class.

The replays clearly show a low blow.
