I'm not stating Fury is better than Boytsov simply because I don't know - nobody does because Boytsov ain't fighting nobody of significance. I'm just saying these rankings lack consistency when resume is not the decisive factor to them.

Do you honestly feel Boytsov should be rated above Fury for looking more impressive against D and E-level opposition than Fury against C-level opposition?

Well for one Boystov has been injured. And Fury has been fighting a bunch of nobodies in the UK they are not C level fighters. That was my whole point. British level fighters are awful.

I agree. Although i think Fury has a lot of more potential. Than the the smaller fighter Boystov....

  4. Fury ain't even the best in britan - david price would knock him out

It was Fury who knocked him down in the amateurs. He went on to lose both fights against him but his chin held up.

Fury's opponents aren't much better than Boystov's so far

Chisora, McDermott, Zack Page and Nascimento are the biggest names

Boystov won vs Ondrej Pala and Taras Bydenko

If Boystov was dead he still should rank higher than Fury.....

True Pala holds a European title now and is still young. At the moment I have Boystov ahead of Fury due to his extra 10 or so fights and his high KO %. I still don't have Boystov in my top 10 as it happens.

Chisora was ridiculously overhyped by wlad fans. In the real world everyone still accepts he wasn't top 40.

Fury is planning on fighting rogan next then defending his british belt. By then price will be mandatory. Meaning within 2 fights fury can establish himself the best in britain.

He can then challenge the likes of dmi for the euro belt which should put him top ten in the world.

Ondrej Pala and Bidenko are better than all those other fighters. Jason Gavern is also better than all those fighters. Boystov would bury fury even if he's been sitting on the couch watching Russian soap operas all day eating pepperoni pizzas since new years. Nascimento? you must be joking

The problem with Boystov is that he doesn't make progress he matched very carefully has fought only 2 times in 2010 and is out of the ring since 7 months.
I don't have him in my top 10 too

?? Fury( or Price) has to fight Haye before they he can establish himself as the best in britain

I would like to see Dimitenko vs Fury that should be a very even fight

Haye is world level, not domestic level.

I give dmi the slight edge but fury will improve from now on imo

I still don't remember anybody here overhyping Chisora. At the time I and most people said they didn't mind it due to Wlad already beating 2 or 3 top contenders already that year and they would rather have that fight than nothing. Plenty of other fighters turned down the fight or weren't ranked high enough to take the fight like Toney.

The only people I saw that overrated Chisora were boxrec who for God knows why had him at No.9 in the World last week. :huh
I always had Chisora outside of the top 50 myself.

I didn't mind the fight considering it was that or nothing the first time it was signed, Wlad earned an easy fight considering there was nobody else who could take the fight. It would have been Wlad's worst opponent for about 30 fights if it did happen.

As far as I know Boystov is fighting on the undercard of Dimitrenko vs Sprott so at least he's coming back. He may never reach his potential though considering he has had major surgery on his main hand twice now.
