How CAN anyone Rank RIGONDEAUX over 3 Divisional Champ like MARES, WOW Noobies.

Rigondeaux whooped Mares ass in the amateurs, thats proof he could easily do it again to him. People only judge Rigondeaux by his professional record which is actually better than Mares pro record as of now. If you give some weight to Rigondeaux's amateur record than him and Mares are world's apart, which they are.

Rigondeaux would beat Mares in the same way Donaire got beat.

 

Wasn't that fight like 10 years ago? When Mares was 17, not saying it isn't a great amateur win but it doesn't mean much now when talking about a Pro fight. 10 years more experience against many World Champs Mares has bound to have improved a lot since he was 17.

 

Rigo is in my top 3 P4P and Mares is a decent little fighter..he is maybe in the 9-10 spot..

 

You won't get to these guys. They were probably the same people who were rooting against Mares in most of his fights. This kid just keeps winning. ****, fighting at the level Mares has, it's a ****ing miracle he keeps his 0 intact. Rigondeaux has had it easier as he has **** competition outside of his win over Nonito Donaire, a guy who I've been saying Mares beats.

I called it a while ago. Mares is like Ward. He just finds a way to win at all costs. Not to mention he just wants to fight the best. He has called out all the best around his weight class consistently. Hell they offered Donaire 3 mil. Now he wants Rigo.

If Mares was a little taller he could keep climbing up in weight but 126 I believe is his limit. The only problem I see for him there is Mikey. No one beats Mikey under 140.

 

Once again we have the mis-intepretation of the phrase "pound for pound"

Resume is a consideration not a factor, if P4P rankings were based on wins accumulated or world title fights fought in, Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko would be 1 and 2 and Carl Froch would probably be number 4 or 5 behind Mayweather and Pacquiao.

It is my honest opinion that Donaire would beat Mares, thats why I personally have Donaire and Rigondeaux placed above him.

Its funny how quickly Mares's gift over Agbeko has been forgotten :deal He's a terrific little fighter, everything you have said about Mares I agree with, I just don't hold him as highly regarded P4P as you. Nor do I agree with your ranking criteria.

 

Got Rigo ahead of Mares, I like Mares and he's been moving up but Ponce De Leon got stopped by Lopez in 1, its not an amazing win, Mares needs a win over Rigo or Donaire to get proper high
