So what you're saying is you go against everyone who states that Floyd took on all comers at 130 and 135, proved himself great and has since been a shadow and shell of himself at 147?

So you're in the minority who think Floyd has proven himself better and world class at 147 when compared to his earlier achievements? That kind of sums up this situation, you don't know much about his early career, possibly cause you didn't watch it.

Floyd was better at 130, no doubt about that, but your comment is ****ing ludicrous.

same reason why people rate Pac's win over Oscar as credible.

its like this...with both these fights actually....the fighters had the "potential" to make it a strong fight...however certain circumstances are evident that shows us the fighters where somewhat crippled.

So personally both these wins for both fighters i dont rate giving the circumstances.

however stop whining when certain Floyd fans give him credit for this win while pac fans run around acting like Pac's wion over Oscar was something special. Adress both if you REALLY have a problem with the bullshyt.

I'm saying that the comers were better at 140-7(well, the ones that he fought anyway). Apart from Castillo. I'm not denying his 130lb dominance, I rate him at #2 of all time in the division behind arguello and in front of Elorde. And of course he has proven himself world class at 40-47. How many fighters in the division would be favored to beat him? Even now, forget the younger version that just stepped into that weight range? He's a smarter, more experienced fighter than ever before. Not as fast, not as hard hitting, but more mentally developed. Think old man hopkins-style.

I also disagree with your implication that Floyd was open to all comers even at 130-5. He has always had a very guided, hand picked career.

Really cause I could have sworn JMM fought Pacquiao at 126 and 130, but never at 135.

I agree. I think Floyd would beat Pacman with speed and size a little, but that would not be a tuneup and Floyd would have a tougher time with Pacman than with Marquez.
