    Good post.

But I do disagree with one point you made. He will be remembered in 20 years but his legacy will not be as strong as it could have been.

The bottom line with everyone who has criticized this point is that is Mayweather really cared about his legacy he would have stepped up to the plate EVERY time someone called him out. Mayweather backs off and fights other people who are a lesser threat. That is not the sign of an all-time great.

If Mayweather was an ATG he would have chased down (and I mean CHASED DOWN) every top ranked fighter in his weight division. He NEVER did that. Margarito, Williams etc. (I can go on). Why didn't he fight all of these guys back to back if he is the best out there!?!? Why the hesitation.

If he is go damn great and can destroy anyone then he should have fights lined up with the best. He hasn't done that. He never will.

It's hard to figure why Floyd has any fans at all. His fights are boring, and Floyd himself has the personality of a snotty home coming queen. I guess it's the psuedo-ghetto behavior , and the all too obvious ignorance that some find appealing. Like the dopey kids in school that were proud they couldn't read or solve simple math problems.
When Floyd avoids , his fans are quick with excuses and justifications. "He would have beat Mosely anyway".
True, I figure Floyd would beat Williams, Cotto, Mosely, just about anyone in the vicinity of 147. It would be a gas seeing him taking on these great challenges. But he prefers to pick his own opponents and act like a ****. Some like to see great fights , some like to see the torture of helpless victims. Floyds fans seem to gravitate to the latter.

You could discredit any fighters resume or career. It's pretty easy for us, but we will never know how hard is to be a fighter unless if you could step in their shoes. Has Mayweather fought the best at 147? Of course not. But i'll give you an example how easy it is to discredit another pound for pound with a similar fashion as you did to Mayweather. Manny should've fought Cotto at 147 not 145. Hatton was overrated and really got expose and beaten against Mayweather. DLH was dehydrated. Marquez fights were really close and come on Diaz? Manny should be fighting someone like Bradley or Mosley or Berto or even a Nate when he was moving up and be a leader in making boxing install the random blood testing which is needed in the sport. See how easy it was. Did I mean everything? no, but you get the point now...

Floyd is an arrogent little *******,,, but I'm gonna wait and see what happens with the Mosley negotiations, before I write him off for good.

As far as: "won't be remembered in 20 years" ... You might want to rethink that one.

And the dumbest all time post on ESB goes to.... dannylatics.. he has single handedly shown his ignorance to boxing better than anyone in the history of ESB... lets give him hand..

to be completely honest with you I thought you were joking as I read this.. then I realized this was just someone who doesn't know ****..

It crazy how the only reason Floyd called Mosley out in 99 is because he had just lost to Vernon twice.. meanwhile Mosley didn't fight Vernon until 2002. Care to explain that one? Heres an idea do your research.

Also I pretty sure they are in the middle of negotiating a fight with Mosley who you said career is rejuivinated..

He should have fought Cotto huh? Why did Floyd leave top rank? did you ever look into that. Arum wouldn't let Floyd fight Cotto. Said he was "too green".

Also instead of fighting Margarito for 8 mil, he fought the WBC champ for 8 million..

He should have fought Hatton at 140??? First off Hatton turned the fight down when Floyd was at 140 because he wasn't ready. Then when Floyd went to 147, Hatton made his push to become the P4P best and called out Floyd. So that means Hatton had to come to Floyds weight..

If Pavlik were to sudenly call Vladimir out, you wouldn't expect Vlad to come down to 160 would you? So why the **** would it have been Floyds responsibility to come to 140??

I have a question for all the doubters of Floyd Mayweather. When, not if, he beats Mosley easier than the general opinion, will you give him credit for such a performance would merit?

I know I'm gonna get flamed for this but I honestly don't care. I think alot of his supports will support him due to his colour when he's fighting none black fighters.

Yes definatley, if he beats him.

Donald Duck Mayfeather is probably one of the most naturally talented boxers I have ever seen. Unfortunately Donald was also given the heart of the cowardly lion & the balls of a gnat. Therefore he will never be regarded as anything more than a wannabe.
How people can still support his punk ass prima donna ways totally defeats me. Let him go dance on the WWE or somethin Boxing is better off without him
