You do realize that a catch weight can be 147 right?

Because a catch weight is traditionally defined as fight between guys in two different divisions that takes place at a weight limit somewhere in between their weight classes.

More commonly catch weights are referred to as bouts taking place between the weight classes not being able to weigh in at the max of the limit, such as Cotto-Pac 145

They met in the middle. So this fight can be called a catch weight. But it's neither here nor there. The thread starter was trying to call the fight at 145 at first. But this fight can be called a catch weight but not in the sense of the thread starters way.

If Fighter A moves up and Fighter B moves down and they meet at a weight, it can be called a catch weight fight.

They weren't fighting at welterweight... an established weight class... they were fighting at a catchweight of 147, which just happens to be the WW limit.
