DLH's previous fight was at 150, so the real middle would be.... ????
    145
Which is what DLH weighed, even though he could have weighed????? 147.... why could he weigh 147?
Because it is the WW limit, the weight class in which the fight was agreed upon.

There's nothing to establish, if you want to call it just a normal WW fight it's fine. I said it CAN be called a catch weight fight.

EVEN THEN, it doesn't change the fact that DLH weighed less than Pac on fight night.

When Paul Williams says he will go back down to 147 to fight floyd mayweather jr. is it because that's the WW limit, or because it's a catchweight?

It doesn't have to be the exact middle to be called a catch weight.

fight in the WW division, or a catch weight fight at 147?

    Can be called either.

    It doesn't matter.

Pac beat the **** out of him.

And DLH somehow weighed less than him.

Cotto/Pac was a catch weight fight
Marquez/May was a catch weight fight
    May/DLH was a JMW fight
    DLH/Pac was a WW fight

So because 1 boxer is moving down in weight it's not a catch weight?
It has to be 1 moving up and the other coming down?

What? Pacquiao's fight prior to DLH was at lightweight. 147 was the perfect meeting for the two fighters. What are you trying to suggest, that Pacquiao should've moved up all the way to 154 after having only one fight above 130?

I guess you didn't read this.

It's a weight mutually agreed upon by two boxers. It's when boxers in different weight classes meet in the middle.

If Paul moved to 147 while Floyd was already at 147....

    Who would call it either?
When in the history of boxing has 147 been called a catch weight?

    CATCH....
    WEIGHT....

    WELTER.....
    WEIGHT.....

Do you ****ing understand why you look like a ****ing ****** right now?

    No.

But damn I keep forgetting he didn't stop at 140 first.

Pac didn't have to meet him anywhere.

Im merely saying the fight could be called a catch weight fight. That is all.

You aren't using your brain. Try to use it and get back to me.

    Catchweight.

It's a weight mutually agreed upon by two boxers. It's when boxers in different weight classes meet in the middle.

It doesn't have to be the exact middle.

I merely stated, that it CAN be called a catch weight.
