it pains me to say but shane is a shot fighter, his zip and power are diminished even w/o the added weight. he fought like hatton i.e he got hit time and time again coming in and when he was on the inside he just rested against mora and threw wild swimming shots.Mora made him miss all night except for the last 3 rounds when he inexplicibly decided to draw shane to the ropes and even then he was countering and landing clean blows. If he had power shane would have been a mess.I love mosley but his performance tonight only earnt him 2 rounds and a drawn round on my card. Just because you are coming forward and swinging doesn't mean you are winning p.s dont tell me about the punchstats cas they are clearly miscalculated.count for yourself, for every clean shot mosley connected with,at least one if not more came back DAYLIGHT ROBBERY but i still love mosley and i hope he decides to retire now before he gets embarrassed or god forbid ko'd
You are wasting your time. People here are as blind and clueless as the media who somehow managed to pick Shane, even though to a TRUE boxing fan, it was easy to see who won that fight...and it wasn't Mosley.
I could be classed a '*****' by some and I thought Mora easily won. I had him winning 177-112. His inside work was really very good.
How can anyone think Sergio won? They both looked atrocious. Shane was ineffective and didn't land. Sergio was negative and for the first 8 rounds barely even threw - let alone landed - a damn thing.
I kinda agree with this. The rounds Mora won weren't clear cut rounds where he did somethings special, it was more like Mosley wasn't able to do much of anything, and Mora's style won that round, plus maybe Mora landed something. It's hard to say Mora truly won that fight, but if you had to have a winner it should definately be him and not Mosley.
Exactly. Regardless of who anyone scored it for, neither fighter deserves anyone's sympathy as neither deserved a win.
i haven't seen a robbery like this in years!! anyone who thought mosley won, should **** off and find another sport to corrupt!! i wanted mosley to win and was behind him all the way, but mora won this fight WIDE!! this is what's ruining the sport.and now **** head so-called fans, who can't score a fight for ****, are making this sport not worth pissing on.
I agree with Intentional Butt. It was a close fight in that both made a **** performance, Mora's running like a *** and Mosley's inability to cut the ring off and make him pay. The HBO commentators were saying Mosley won because they were disgusted by Mora and his style not so much because of Mosley's commanding performance. Mora was just horrible, missing as much as Mosley when he wasn't spazzing out and on the run, except for the championship rounds where he sucked it up and did something. I think a draw was probably the good call.
If people are so split on it then a draw is a good result. The Mosley that got schooledby Winky would have actually killed Mora. That's the gulf in class.
As a counter argument, you could say it's **** like your post that's "killing boxing", instead of focusing your displeasure at the two ***gots in the ring who put on this shitty "show", you gear your frustration at fans who have a differing opinion regarding who won the shittiest fight I've ever seen. It blows my mind that in this economy people paid $55 dollars for that bull****, and you point your frustration at them because they disagree with your opinion, yet you aren't sickened by that bull**** that you saw in the ring. You ***** about the refs scoring, who gives a **** how the refs scored it, what's important is that people sat and watched a ****ing cat fight, and that we even have to ***** about how it was scored because it was so uneventful and so ****ing weak, that you can't even say "remember this or what about that", because it was ****ing HORRIBLE, you wanna be pissed be pissed at those pussies not me, or anyone else who had nothing to do with that God Damn joke of a "fight".
True. :good This fight was a draw because the judges couldn't have a fight in which both fighters suffer a loss, what they really deserved.
