how can boxing fans dislike GGG?

They only hate if you're great. I'm sure GGG wears the hatred from jealous fans like a badge of honor.

 

You choose what you want to see, the people pulling the race card notice it because they feel victimized, if it isn't painfully obvious already.

 

Golovkin has been elevated to ATG status after beating who? Lemeiux? Goes both ways, I don't care what race people are and it doesn't even cross my mind. I don't get how people link Floyd fans to Golovkin haters.

Ward and Golovkin are two of my favorite fighters, I think I'm pretty unbiased in this regard.

 

Same could be said about Mayweather.

I have found that the only people that trash GGG are Floyd and Canelo fans. Other than that he seems to be liked by most boxing fans. Its hard to build your resume when nobody wants to fight you. The only guys that have stepped up and said they wanted to fight GGG are Lara where there is absolutely no interest by anyone to see that other than its problably GGG best option and Ward who is two weight divisions above GGG.

 

Stopped after reading the first paragraph, I didn't say Odin claimed he's an ATG.

 

The only ones who hate such a likeable person are the ones who are scared for their boy: Mayweather, Canelo and Ward fans.

The so called fans/ haters the fighter has on a forum are not the same people who actually pay to go to fights. The hate upon GGG is similar to the hate that Floyd got. Both guys are accused of not fighting the best and always fighting the same style.The Floydmos have turned into GGG haters. They feel its their turn to hate on someone for a while. That man be one GGG.

 

He's boring. Against an equal, we will see how exciting he is.

 

Anyone who finds an aggressive and dominant fighter with a high KO percentage boring must be a Floyd fan.:-(

 

Technically speaking, they don't like the success with his style of fighting. They think ggg is slow and therefore an athletic slick fighter if given a chance will expose him. Tim Bradley a few months back gave this similar impression were he complimented his power but emphasize on his lack of speed. I think ggg took care of that theory when he out boxed Monroe.
