    It can be argued he is, we must remember Halger lost to a semi-retired blown up welterweight who was blind in one eye whilst Calzaghe was 46-0 no if's no but's, all 46 came with a game plan and all 46 came up short.

    hagler was hammered by a blown up welterweight who was smashed by terry norris shortly after.just read the facts hagler didnt beat anyone so special that jc wouldnt of dealt with

    Hagler was better and more dominant than Joe, but Joe would have given Hagler a good fight. And the fact is had Marvin been fighting at the same time Joe was at 168, Marvin would not have moved up to fight Joe.

    People set up these threads to bash Calzaghe. Come on now. Joe is definitely a GREAT boxer. He was voted #3 on fighters of the decade only behind Pac and Floyd. But NOT above Hagler all time, let's be real here.
