How can Donaire, Cotto and Hopkins be above Chad Dawson in the p4p rankings?

If he beats Pascal and Mosley loses badly to Floyd, he could conceivably be my number 3 by the end of the summer.

Good question. And why is Hopkins still ranked in the top 10? That's even more mind-boggling.

Even as a big Hopkins fan, I agree.

That they're all ranked and Wlad, one of the 3 most dominant fighters in the sport today, isn't ranked at all is an even bigger joke.

yeah I'm with you on this, I think Cotto and Bhop need to take a few slides down the p4p rankings. I think donaire deserves to be there. The problem is the people who are part of the ratings system don't pay much attention to the heavier weights when it comes to p4p

They say he is this and that. But no one cares, why? Cause he has no spectacular wins no one remembers his wins over 40 year old Tarver and Johnson.

Donaire is a great boxer, and his knock-out win over Darchinyan was a great accomplishment. His opponents have been good, and perhaps underrated by some people on these boards. Dawson's best wins were against Antonio Tarver, and he beat him twice. He also beat Glen Johnson twice. Eventhough, Johnson is old, he was still a top boxer at light heavyweight. Dawson also has a win over highly regarded Tomasz Adamek. Although I am a great Donaire fan, I have to go with Dawson as to who should be rated higher pfp. There are probably a couple reasons as to why Donaire is rated so high. First off, he's probably pfp the best boxer south of 120 lbs., although Darchinyan is close behind. These lower weights need some recognition and attention. If the Ring did not pick anyone from these lower weights, it would look bad on these smaller guys. Also, the light heavyweights tend to be the group that get pushed over because they're smacked between the Heavyweights and the Middleweights.

Because they are better. Dawson been fighting bums, but wait Donaire has been fighting bums also. I dunno, my mind is still high with the Martinez win. :D
