How can Floyd be considered a top WW ???

    I don't know.. felix sturm didn't have too much trouble with De La Hoya.... Hopkins put him out too.

    I hate Margarito, stop bringing him up like I worship the guy.
    I have no earthly idea why Mayweather ducked him when offered 8 million. That **** makes me wonder.

    Cotto is a throw back fighter that took on the best opposition and unfortinately ruined his career. His resume is better than baldo, Judah, Hatton and Floyd combined. He took on dangerous opponents, in their primes and at comfortable weights. You have to respect that.

    Bigman you certainly havent owned me , im not talking about at the time dick head im talking about now !!!!!!! , Shane Mosley has called out Floyd for the last 3 years Ricky Hatton calls him out once and bang the fight is on , pathetic .

    Judah and Baldomir where the best of a bad bunch at the time , in the condition both fighters where in then they would be very hard pushed to be in the top 8 in the world @147 now .

    De La Hoya tee'd off on a shot Mayorga and actually beat Floyd on 1 of the score cards when he was over the hill ala Forbes !!!!!!

    Floyd has not fought Cotto , Marg , Clottey , Sugar or Pac enough said !!!!!!

    Fact is Pacquiao done to Cotto what no other fighter has acheived @147 , complete domination , every round with two knock downs , that there tied in with the way he took out Hatton and Oscar is enough to be sitting at the top of the WW pile !!!! :deal :good

    My time line is fine , Judah was at the time the champ yes , when the division was arguably at its weekest in a very very long time , question did you see Judah against Cotto and Clottey ????

    Fact is Judah is good but not top tier @147 its that simple the guy is border line gate keeper and thats Floyd im the greatest WW in the world's best win @147 , its a ****in joke !!!!!!

    He's ducked anybody who's anybody post 2007 @147 and thats a fact and in 2010 the phoney **** bag is still sitting top of the charts !!!! :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    No big man , my hate affair with Void and his bull **** started way before the De La Hoya fight .

    Actually it was round about the 20th Apr 2002 when Jose Luis Castillo practically battered Floyd and dropped a lop sided decison !! :lol:

    he can't be considered no matter what u do in any haters eye. You need to be unbias and be a true fan of boxing before you do realize that floyd is the best top WW in the world.

    you can try spinning all the arguments all you want, but thats because ur a hater while the fact still remains. He beat 2 lineal champs and former champ and undefeated p4p top 10 like hatton.

    when he done all that the rest of the division was weak, seriously like he cant be bothered fighting all of them there is no need:hi:

    The problem with the OP is this.

    Joshua Clottey and Luis Collazo haven't beaten top ten welterweights, so we obviously can't consider them top welterweights either.

    And if Collazo isn't a top ten welterweight, then Berto hasn't beaten a top ten welterweight, so he cannot be considered top ten. But if Collazo wasn't top ten when Mosley beat him (and obviously he couldn't be) then Mosley at that point hadn't beaten someone then in the top ten at welterweight, so he couldn't have been a top ten welterweight then (he beat DLH at 147 if course, but DLH had changed divisions by this time, so doesn't count, according to OP).

    That means Mosley was not top ten when Cotto beat him which means that Cotto hadn't beaten a top ten welterweight by the time he fought Margarito, so he couldn't be considered a top ten welterweight at that point.

    And if Cotto was never top ten, then that means Margarito and Pacquiao haven't beaten top ten welterweights.

    I hearby declare the entire top ten at WW to be vacant.

    yeah...your right, he's an awful fighter!!! And all the "so called" top WW like Clottey, Cotto, Margarito, Mosley would have DESTROYED FLOYD!!!!

    This idiot must completely forgot Mayweather beat the lineal WBC champion and the former undisputed champ right after he lost the title. Defeated a WBA titlist and undefeated at the time Hatton, and former world champion Sharmba Mitchell before he retired undefeated world champion:huh
