If he flattens him then it proves to the casuals that he's a bigger puncher than Burger Squad.

On a side note does this mean povetkin will now be handed the interim title?

Probably not. I can see Wilder's people drawing this whole saga out to mid 2017. The WBC don't exactly enforce mandatories strictly either.

Its gone beyond a joke now.

If there was fairness wilder would be made champion in recess and povetkin could fight for the belt

Its what the did to dzord

Stiverne was always going to be the next opponent. It is a slight step up for AJ and not too risky a fight with the Parker fight set up for early next year.

So he won the belt from a complete bum, defended it against a cherry pick bum and now he wants another defence against a faded old bum. Who buys a ticket for this garbage? Not me.

Lots of fans on the internet have been saying Stiverne's a good opponent for a long time, so Hearn knows it would sell. There are enough gullible fans to justify these matches before Hearn even has them signed.

It suprises me that anyone would think Stiverne is a good opponent for AJ at this stage. He looks like a slow plodding punch-bag to me, and I've been saying so for months now.

Yeah, go Eddie. Fight a bloke who is a punching bag for Parker in his sparring camps.
