How can i gain weight?

    It depends on your body type. If you are an ectomorph (naturally thin) then you need to eat, eat, eat. Eat every 3-4 hours. Take a protein bar or shake with you to work. Set a "protein alarm" when you go to bed to have another shake or bar. There are a lot of supplements you can use to aid you. Check out Bodybuilding.com for weight gainers. Don't go to GNC, nothing against them, but their stuff is WAY overpriced. Remember though, The protein bars and shakes are for supplementation of a good diet. You still have to find time to eat real food. You should add weight just like you lose it, slowly.

    I know people who can't do it. im 168 5"10. a skinny mate of mine is same height and 148 pounds... not right

    At 18 eating alot of food won't be enough. As others have mentioned, lifting weights will help you pack on the pounds. If you're looking for a way to look bigger, that'll come with time as your body adjusts to the extra muscle mass.

    BTW, the chick is Housecats avatar is nice and thick :) I'm definitely down with the thick chicks. Boney bitches are corny!

    Very good advice here. But, I'd go with complex carbs before a workout. I don't think running on protein is a good idea. The breakdown of protein into energy produces amnonia in the body (which is poison).

    how would you know if he needs to gain weight or not?

    he ASKED how he can gain weight, either give him advice or just shut the **** up.

    i would have thought you could have given him a few good pointers, seen as the last time i remember seeing you, you were a fat ****.

    Lots of tuna, cottage cheese, whole grains like cherrios and bread also eat hard boiled eggs. if you eat this stuff youll get a **** load of protein and healthy weiht try it ou bro it works. i went from 150 to 175.good luck and take my advice.
