It’s a difficult one to answer, as there’s so much we don’t know about Miller. What’s his gas tank really like? Can he take a shot? If he can, can he take a flurry of them? Does he get nervous on big occasions? In terms of technical ability I don’t think he moves particularly well, in that he seems to give upper body movement exclusively, and doesn’t attack with it.

People question Joshua’s stamina, but in truth your stamina will look different depending on your opponent and the occasion. You can only really train your body in the gym, but mental stamina needs to be taught in the ring. Look at Joshua vs Breazeale. With a good punch output, Joshua looked like he could go 20 rounds. With Wlad he looked done by the 5th.

Only way he wins is by closing his eyes and taking a wild swing Rahman style.

There is literally nothing Miller has I'm his Arsenal that will trouble AJ.

He looked bothered by a few of Wach's shots too. I'm yet to be convinced that he's got an iron chin, even if he does, Joshua has cracked a few good chins in Povetkin, Johnson, Breazeale, he better have a better chin than all those 3 guys if he's to have any chance.

Plus we know Wilder KO'ed him in sparring and sent him to hospital though Miller says it was dehydration, I guess he was dehydrating him self below 300lbs or something lol.

I don't think Miller is an awful fighter, solid top 20 material at the very least but he's horribly out gunned and out matched here.

Miller has very good mobility and energy for a man his size. He could overpower Joshua in a clinch, or tire him out in the later rounds with activity. He also has what I think is a good chin with deceptively fast hands. He's also in his prime, not 41 like Wlad or 39 like Povetkin each of whom troubled Joshua. The fight is in Miller's back yard. Fans will be out. NY heavies have their own appeal.

So he can win. The key for Miller is not to win every single round, rather he needs to avoid being caught by Joshua's monster right hand while keeping up a pace that Joshua doesn't like. I think win or lose, Miller stock will rise in this fight. I give him about 1 in 3 chance, but this is based on me thinking he can take a punch and won't punk out and say okay I'm playing defense while AJ scores with his jab all night.

Joshua needs to be in shape. 245-250. 255 and over, only means Miller has a better chance.

Miller is a slow unfit slob who should not be fighting for the title.

This fight is not unwinnable for Miller. He's 300 pounds and will apply constant pressure to Joshua and tire him in clinhes.

David Tua won sone of his fights by taking guys out late who were outboxing him. Purrity and Brewster did it to Wlad. That kind of scenario could play out.

I doubt it though the difference is not huge.

bear in mind though that Peter is Wlads best win.... it will be one of Joshuas worst if it actually happens.

Both those guys had notably good chins, Tua never stopped and Purrity only stopped on cuts and once genuinely in only his 2nd fight when he was out of shape.

I think Miller is going to get punished from the outside, he only has a measly 78 inch reach which is small for a guy his height, when he does get inside you think the Hearn picked ref is gonna let Miller maul and clinch Joshua? Also there's no guarantee Miller even over powers Joshua in the clinch, Joshua may not weigh as much as Miller but he's a very big strong guy himself and will have a leverage advantage with his height and can lean down on Miller.

Joshua for me is the better inside fighter too. Miller will throw a lot but Joshua will catch and counter with compact hooks and uppercuts on the inside and will do so with power. I honestly think this is a mismatch.

Look at the pictures of them side by side. Joshua looks like a boy next to Miller. I don't think Joshua is exceptionally strong for a heavyweight and I do believe in Miller's chin. Miller will have to be willing to eat bombs if he wants to win though.

Will Miller be wearing his giant black bin bag nappy trunks when he fights Joshua?

Joshua hasn’t been rocked several times he’s been caught several times but only two people have rocked him one was Dyllian Whyte and the other was Wladimir Klitschko. On both occasions Joshua showed that he had quick powers of recovery which is the sign of a good chin.

You shouldn’t confuse been caught with being rocked, every single fighter who ever laced up a pair of gloves has been caught but that doesn’t mean they were rocked.

Miller is actually 6’2”, so a 78” inch reach is about average for his height.
