i just dont get it....joe is wonderful... a good guy for boxing...and wales...

but how can anyone put him on the top... imean he has only fought one world class fighter who was in his prime fighting joe.... that guy is mikkel kessler and he could not use his right hand before, during and after the fight.....

Bhop was nearly 50 when they fought... Roy is about the same age... maybe only 40 :).... but joe could have fought these guys 10 years ago... instead he fought the likes of mitchell....veit and other semi fighters.....

i like joe...but he can not be number one... that big a crisis is boxing not in.... i mean you have Manny P who has only fought top dogs since 2003... should he be punished for entertaining the fans...

and just to get the rest out:) how can anyone put oscar on a top 10 p4p... it makes me laugh:)

keep it up out there...boxing is living.... and if we treat the sport good... we will get what we want...... including a return of the master of the sweet science... the runnaway bride.... but also a magic man in the ring.... FLOYD

If I may ask what is your P4P top 10? I think hardly anyone on here has Joe as no.1 anyway.

I guess who ever they are, they feel that he's the best boxer right now...or, simply they are great fans of JC...

I don't think there are many on here that have him as #1.

There aren't many bigger Calzaghe fans than me and I have him at #2. Manny Pac is clear number 1 and deservedly so.

Joe is certainly #2 though, I don't think there can be any doubt who is #1 and #2 at the moment.

I don't think that's the case. Calzaghe is the only British fighter in my top 10(he's at no.2 btw) and if you ask many of the Brits on here the only a few will have Hatton in the top 10.

Bhop was a concensus top 5. Mikkel was a two belt champ. Lacy was a favorite. He has never lost and held his belt for over a decade. He's beaten 9 current of former current champs. Does that answer your question.

I have Manny at 1, with quite a healthy lead over Joe in 2. Saying that, Joe has quite a good lead on the rest.

Drugs! Seems to be logical to me. But honeslty speaking.....I know floyd has a LOT better resume but it's nothing stellar either....DLH, Shane, Bhop, JT ect...all slame Floyds Career in terms of resume. But he is truly gifte.

hehe.... dont now if anyone can beat joe...cause he is a brilliant fighter.... my point is that hasent fought real stiff competition....

i think a fight with kelly pavlik would tell us alot about joe.... as well as a rematch with mikkel kessler on us ground.... chad dawson and glen johnson are two other fighters a would love joe to fight

dont get me wrong... im a big "super joe calzaghe" fan..... but i want and need more before ill accept him as an historic world elitefighter....

    Perfectly put, Joeboxer.
