Joshua lost 2 rounds, first 2, which was pretty much expected by most boxing fans who knows something.

Joshua beat a very experienced fighter who had never been ko'd before.

Loma got put on his ass by a Linares who is far more 'War torn' than Povetkin.....

Usyk got a narrow 12 round MD over Briedis.....

Yet Joshua just KO'd an Olympic Gold Medallist, and he has been 'exposed'?

    If Joshua wasn't a HW, he'd be P4P number 1.

Dry your eyes and man up your boy lost. Try and get over it.

Anybody who knows boxing would have known that Povetkin is the best technician left in the division. The early rounds were always going to be the toughest for a 22 fight boxer against someone as dangerous and experienced as Povetkin.

Joshua was in total control. He fought a typical big man versus the little man fight to a T. His tactics weren't exactly like Klitschko's were against Povetkin. Klitschko clinched and smothered. Joshua head grabbed and spun him.

By no means a great performance but solid. He did what he had to. I'd give him an A if Povetkin wasn't so old and had had a meaningful win in the last few years.

Even though I like watching Joshua's fights, he's not much different then Wilder. Very athletic, with huge power and good chin, but below average boxer. He beat Povetkin in the same way Wilder beat Ortiz and Spilka. Just waited for him to get tired, by taking shot after shot and then timed him with a big punch.
Lennox Lewis would beat both of these jokers with ease because he actually could box. Same with prime Klitchkos. Wilder or Joshua would only have a punchers chance against them. If Grant was fighting today he would be in the mix with AJ and Wilder.

Povetkin would have KO'd Wilder, if not for the Meldonium BS.

Ifs and buts don't mean anything. If you didn't write so much rubbish you'd be a decent poster.

I would have been more surprised if a heavily experienced elite former olympic champion hadnt won a few rounds.

Is he expected to just steam roller everyone?

This heavyweight division isn't as bad as some make out, there's a handfull of guys that are seriously good fighters.
