He was smiling because:

1. The Fans were loudly cheering him and booing Mayweather out of the place.

2. He's a millionare. I know that would make me smile.

3. He was fighting an even fight with the #2 P4P fighters in the sport until the butt/suckerpunch.


Considering everyone expected him to get completely outclassed, I can understand why he was smiling.

You remember many moons ago when Diego Corrales (RIP) lost to Floyd after his father threw in the towel to save him from any more punishment? ****in' Diego was crushed, man, crying and everything. ****in' distraught.
