Word, after that left landed, I'm sure JMM said to himself " ok chill, stay put, he's about to come back at you again." The familiar feint came, and Marquez delivered.

It's tough, Marquez has become a tank, Pacquiao can barely even hurt him now

I think he had his best chance doing what he did in the 4th, Pacquiao made few mistakes, was very defensively sound, Marquez's power was just too much

but anyway, if there's a rematch, same thing as the fourth, just a little more careful(no need to look for the stoppage) and stop pulling back(like roach said) and be more aware of footplacement i guess lol

he can box marquez, aslong as it is at a high tempo

In the fourth fight Pac is already busting JMM, he also show in round one and two that he can also out box JMM. Unfortunately for Pac he got over confident and careless in round 6 that leads to that lucky punch by JMM(fluke win).

I'm not sure tbh. I think jmm edged the first 3 fights but I reckon that could easily have been 2-0-1 for Pac as well.

We learned in 4 that jmm can take pac's biggest shots but the converse ain't true.

Pac will never clearly win 7 rounds against him and in a shoot out he'll never outpunch him. Stranger things have happened I guess.

Although the definition of insanity is repeatedly doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.

JMM has never really solved that lead left from PAC.

Pac was starting to take full control before he got caught.

Pac has never solved that counter right from JMM.

Which was the shot that put him to sleep.

Yeah, he is practicing that. But that punch would not have happen if Pac did not let his guard down, be over confident and over excited. Hence, JMM is lucky with that punch. Even JMM was surprised with that punch, even Nacho did not expect a KO..

and Pac wouldn't have "let his gaurd down" had he not get excited for hurting JMM in the first place...and Pac wouldnt have gotten all aggressive and over excited had JMM not drop him in the 3rd round with that overhand right that Pac just loves to just eat. and if Pacquiao didn't have a dick, he'd be a woman.

So either way you put it, your hero still got KTFO. :hi:

Despite the last fight , Marquez could never convincely beat Manny either . It truly amazes me how everyone in here always makes it seem like Marquez always gives Manny trouble , but Manny never gives Marquez trouble . It will never be a walk in a park for Marquez when he ever faces Pac .

When your opponent is younger, stronger, faster, hits harder, has more stamina, has a far greater workrate, and all around more athletic and has far better physical attributes than you; you are bound to have many problems with him.

    Think about that.

It's a basic plan, but not simple to execute. Of course Pacman can "actually" beat the great Marquez, Pacman still has many advantages he can use. He's still almost the same fighter from 5 yrs ago I've been saying it all along. Just like Manny has flaws so does Jmm, of course Jmm is much greater than Manny at exposing those flaws. There are basically 2 punches Manny has always, always been a sucker for especially against Jmm, the right hand and the long, wide open left hook Juan catches Manny after an exchange.

To begin with, if Manny had any real boxing IQ, he'd avoid Jmm's right at all costs. Second, Jmm is superb defensively by using his own angles and tho his footwork is almost as it was in his prime he knows he's not as fast as Pacquiao, so what does he do? He uses alot of pivoting and waist movement to stay in front of Pacquiao at all times, but he's not a stationary target for Manny. What should Manny do? He needs to jab to the body by moving to his right and go upstairs with the left, similar to what Marquez did to him, in the sense he used jabs downstairs to setup the powerpunch upstairs. Problem is Manny fights at such a high pace he doesnt give himself time to think. Also, despite Marquez having one of the best uppercuts in the game he rarely uses it against Manny. The key for Manny is avoiding the right, avoid using too many combinations on Marquez, and fight a defensive fight where you are potshotting Marquez. Yes Manny was slightly ahead in the 4th fight, but he was taking too many risks and eventually if Marquez caught him once he'd catch him again.

I will say this again. but people will say I am crazy. He fights his usual fight of punches in bunches and he could be countered. He has to fight perfect. Punches in bunches and not take chances. How do you do that? I said before the fight he has to use his jab. People said he doesn't have a jab. No he doesn't use a jab, he has a jab. I have seen him use it at times, he doesn't like to. THat is how he wins this fight. Call me crazy.
