The same way any fighter does it. Leonard fought Hagler without ever fighting at the weight, didn't he? I mean, good article.

Edit: Or was the video about him being "underweight" like RJJ was for Ruiz? ...Never mind, doesn't matter. Still a good article.

  4. 154 is the limit. i m pretty sure u can weigh anything under that.

This is why you make sure your kids are at least getting C's in school. And that's not saying much.

    hmm.. good answer

but it's a joke he's allowed to force his opponents to come in under the limit... and still have it for said title

If you think about it SRR was outweighed by lamotta and others by sometimes up to 20lbs......and there are many other fighters throughtout history who have been outweighed by a lot and come out on top.

Thats true its the only thing that bothers me about the fight, if it is for a title give marg the 154 option, otherwise stick to 7 weighttitles.

i guess it's the belt organizations decision. they can decline to make it a championship fight if they think that pac is risking himself by coming in lower than the minimum weight. i don't know the exact rules regarding this but the alphabet bodies should at least act on this.

but i doubt they would stop this from being a championship fight since they would not get any sanctioning fees in return. they are also thinking of the special circumstance since this is a catchweight fight.

The WBC are looking at his past accomplishments, his drawing power and previous record of dominating opponents at higher weights.
He can weigh 10 stone if he wants, just as long as he is inside 154lbs for the title and 150lbs for the catchweight.

He's in for the fight of his life here, Margarito won't take a backward step and is going to put the pressure on, if Pac cannot put him away, which he won't very easily then he's in trouble. Margarito has a world class chin and stamina, I doubt Pac has the power to KO him clean. Margarito can stop Pac though, no problem.
