I agree with you. Pacman is a great fighter but has no business winning a title if he beats Margarito. Why don't they just let Pacman win the 154, 160 and 168 pound vacant titles in this fight. That would be unprecedented. Anything can be made to happen, but why it happens like that I am not sure. To motivate Pacman? I am not sure. If he wins he knows he will win a title, but how rewarding can it be to not fight a 154 pound contender who earned a ranking.

I don't understand why so many people think you can fight in any division you want as long as you're not higher than the weight. I mean it's just common sense - safety is the main reason for divisions in the first place.
