real nice left hook, a nasty right hand and a brutal right uppercut. If Joshua's jab lands those follow ups are a big big problem for the Parker defense.

that's the trouble. It is not a bunch of small problems to tweek.Defensively how does he avoid getting clipped?
this guy has a The other big big factor is he is fighting in the other guy's backyard.

So in addition to the above concerns, he has to do it in the other guys' backyard. And their will only be a few thousand cheering him on but the rest of the fans yelling and cheering at everything Joshua does. And Parker is no road warrior so far. Big difference taking your act on the road. It effects the scoring & what happens if Parker is down 4 or 5 rounds to zero or one? That is something else they have to plan for.

I haven't seen all of Parkers fight wich seems to be the criteria for commenting, but I think the blueprint in beating AJ is visible from studying him alone; withstand the early onslaught and put the pressure on when AJ gasses.

Imo Parker has to get on the inside but as his getting there keep his head moving and on the inside stay close and bang that body and occasionally the head and maby even get some low ones in on the blind side of the ref and when on the outside keep moving and aj isn't a master boxer he throws alot of the same shots over over and after a few rounds should be easy to read what shots his gonna throw I mean brezeale was able to read aj and his just not that good and if his got a granite chin he could take more risks but what he needs to watch out for is the after the bell shots that aj will try and do

Interesting that people think Parker's only chance comes from a Joshua mistake (Gassing due to overloading/poor prep/whatever).

    Says it all really......

The thing about Parker is besides his chin he doesn't fit the mold of your typical samoan/maori. Samoan/Maori's have insane stamina, I always see Parker gas. If Parker had an insane motor and stamina, he could get Joshua in the later rounds but he'll gas out as quickly as Joshua.

If Parker's chin is so great, and his engine is unquestionable.....why the hell couldn't he just walk through Hughie Fury, a guy who probably has cruiserweight power at best?

Joshua took bombs from Wlad. Not just the one that put him on his back, but he ate left hooks for the following two rounds and showed huge heart and a very good chin.

Joshua had the heart and chin to dare and walk through a Hall Of Famer with great power....

If Parker can't trust himself to do it against Fury, why would he have the bottle against Joshua?

Exactly. People are just clutching at straws..they would love to see Joshua loose..but it definitely aint happening against Parker.

You're right. Parker has posture and defensive issues. He's hittable, no question, and that's why I favour Joshua, but the odds are too focused on how those two things match up, forgetting other variables. If Parker can be tough and savvy enough he could change things in a hurry. Plus there is his own offensive capabilities - they're being written off too easily. He doesn't have to poleaxe Joshua. If faster hands can get there first he can make a dent.

Put it this way, unless Parker makes some cardinal sins, I would be more surprised to see him done early than to see him win.

He's pretty close to having to walk a tightrope, IMO. But other guys have had to do the same thing to come out with a W.

Personally, I would have liked to have seen Parker with much better form in his recent fights. I really question that part of things but sooner or later these guys have to step it up with their level of competition. The problem is how bad say a big ko loss is or can be on his remaining care3er.

Left hook is the money shot against Joshua IMO. It's a short shot that he can catch Joshua with as he tries to establish a tempo.
