How can people hate on Thurman?

Don't hate him. But his stupid hair doesn't help him with the fans

1. Some people don't like big mouths, some people do. I understand that some guys do it for publicity etc but the thread asked how can people hate him and some people hate that kind of thing.

2. Istr Thurman criticising certain people's 147 credentials because of their level of opposition when he had fought similar opposition himself. He also spoke about Khan not deserving a fight with Mayweather but wanted to fight Floyd himself even though he was no more deserving.

None of this is a big deal but it's just things I noticed in the past mainly when he was trying to get big fights and make a name for himself. I haven't noticed anything like that from him lately but I haven't really been paying any attention to what he has been saying recently.

I don't get the hate. His KO ratio fell off once he started facing better opposition. That happens to most guys. He is also somewhat hittable, which makes for more exciting fights.

 

Oh yeah, some people also hate on guys they consider over hyped or over rated.

 

Yeah this class of 93 lol,his hair and strange clothes will put some folk off for sure.
I always enjoy listening to his breakdowns when asked and what a boxing student he is,real slick v Porter Defence,defence,defence.

 

Pretty much nailed it. Boxing fans are consistent critics, perhaps more so than most sports fans. I think it's because the sport is centered on one particular individual, rather than a group - it therefore becomes easier to point out this or that flaw that the individual possess.

 

How a man chooses to wear his hair is his business and don't reflect at all on who he is as a fighter. How he wears his hair is a topic of conversation for females.

 

I don't hate him but I like him. I absolutely have no reason to hate him.
