How can people not love Deontay's style? He's an assassin in there.

As did I.But Wilder or any boxer can only fight who is in front of him. What do you expect him to do, demand Stiverne be replaced by Wlad as Stiverne is not a top champion? Get real, this is the real world...Wilder got his chance and took it emphatically. You can only fight who's there and Wilder fought Stiverne a guy people held highly and trounced him

    Stiverne was a good fighter.

I don't know why people were down on him. Wilder dominated him.

Wilder was sleeping on Molina, but he still did what he had to do. He won't make that same mistake twice.

At least we had a fairly entertaining heavyweight fight but Klitschko will KO him for sure, Povetkin also.

Yes, he beat the belt holder but you forget how he 'earned' his shot. Wins against Scott and Gavern must be so valuable. Compare to the road Povetkin went - Charr, Takam and Perez.

Stiverne is a good fighter but he was totally overweight against Wilder. Don't underestimate that. Wilder has poor stamina. Stiverne was too passive due to his weight problems thus giving Wilder that chance to fight at a comfortable pace.

Still isn't Wilders fault he got a title shot. Don't even think you or I wouldnt be damn happy with the path Wilder took to get his belt over fighting every guy before getting a shot.

He very much needs to work on shortening his punches and taking his time. It was somewhat depressing to see a fighter less controlled than the one who out-boxed Stiverne.

He needs to work on all basics not only his punches. His footwork is terrible, he has no lateral movement whatsoever, he lacks the sense of good distance and timing, he is very stiff...

I am not sure if he could improve all those things. Those seems unnatural to him.
