After reading this article, one feels sorry for Khan. Its clear that Khan is bothered by the boos he gets. I cant fault him at what he says though, after 7/7 he brought the union jack flag out with him and dedicated the fight to victims.

Seems very humble and as mentioned in previous posts i find it absurd how many british fans hope for his downfall and dislike him for reasons that i believe are unjustified

    thoughts?

I think Khan should just laugh at the idiots sitting on their fat asses in the audience booing a professional boxer
The booing is uncalled for but Amir should have a thicker skin really and the last thing he should be doing is talking about how much it gets to him.

**** knows. I've seen interviews/ comments made by him that people have called "arrogant" and I just don't see it. He's said a few daft things now and again but thats about it.

Some people just take against certain fighters and will find fault with anything and everything, in Khans case maybe its the Warren connection or the head start/ cutting corners that his silver medal has enabled him to do in his pro career (which is not Khans fault and is part of the deal of winning an Olympic medal)?

Very poignant article, Khan's a good kid, the amount of hate he gets is ridiculous.

Some people still dislike him after reading and watching anything, face it, you can't stop the hate. Live with it and move on.

That's why he is moving on, moving in to U.S. This will be Khan's last fight in the U.K i feel, unless the Hatton fight pulls off.

Trust me it wont be. It will be one there one here sort of thing. Unless he gets a big attraction in America. If he fought someone like Juan Diaz in Texas who would come for him?

He'll probably fight on the Pac/PBF undercard.

I heard Khan say that he knows right now he is not too well known over there so he is even willing to fight on undercards over there to start off with. I heard Roach saying Khan will be Manny's main sparring partner for the Mayweather fight so he would have to be fighting close to their date aswell.

Khan could even try making his debut on the Pacman-Mayweather fight undercard.

But i do agree time to time he will come back to the U.K to fight as this is home and sell out shows.

"if, maybe, I was a white English fighter, I would be a superstar in Britain."

But Gavin Rees (OK British) held the same title Khan does, is he a superstar? Has he received one fraction of the wealth and attention Khan has.

I'd assume he was talking about a white individual with his level of ability, anyway Rees won prizefighter, he is well on his way now.

So you don't think Khan has got enough attention, despite the fact that he has done little professionally so far, apart from getting embarrassingly knocked out by an unknown fighter and picking up a two a penny ABC belt, which he is yet to defend.

I would find it hard to name another British or in fact fighter who has got more attention, monetary reward, for such little achievement (apart from maybe Audley Harrision, a HW, who won GOLD not silver - and is widely ridiculed).

    Khan wants more attention?

I presume being on PPV, plastered all over Sky, and probably being the most well known boxer in the UK isn't enough for him.
