He gets the attention, but he also gets more than his fair share of criticism. Olympic Silver at 17, World Champion at 22 are no mean feats, yet what i read most about Khan is when is his glass chin getting shattered next, quite distasteful IMO.

Attention and criticism go hand in hand for any sportsman. He's doing what he wants to do and he gets paid very well for it. Damn, he was set for life before taking off his amateur headguard.

Yeah some of his points are invalid, but some are spot on, like the bit about getting criticism for sporting the Pakistani flag, when Witter and Haye do the same, no one gives it a second thought.

Khan would be no bigger if he was a white fighter and i'm sick of hearing that because he's world champ he deserves respect. He is without doubt the most undeserving world champion ever to grace the sport of boxing...

No he isn't, Gavin Rees was the most undeserving.

I agree with that. Calzaghe, Enzo Macc, Munroe and Witter all have/had the flag of the land where their family originally came from on their shorts and people don't care. When Khan does it he gets a lot of ****.

Anyone who doesn't think it's partly due to his ethnicity is living in a box

That aside I don't think people have a problem with his personality. All the Khan fan's moan saying it's jealously, it's just hating. The majority of people that currently are against him wouldn't be if his Team did one simple thing... knowingly fight someone who actually poses a risk!, the fact he has never done this, yet talks in interviews as if he is alongside Hatton/Calzaghe for me at least is just annoying

I wish all the best to Amir. Lot of fighters become greater and stronger because of peoples hate.

I am absolutely staggered the idiot is using the race card, ****ing hell, just as you begin to like him he starts that shite. What more does he want? The recognition and crowds he get when he's achieved very little big wins is amazing really, he should be ****ing grateful.

He's bigger than Carl Froch for crying out loud, yes thats the white man Carl Froch.

I agree with Khan that there is a racial element, at least where I live it is true.

However I think it was unhelpful of Khan to say it, if you check the news today his father is in damage control, saying he isnt sure why Amir said it and doesn't believe its true blah blah

Race is a factor. People are more prone to disliking Khan due to ethnicity. Those same people will dislike him even more each time he plays the race card.

    1. Khan is right.
    2. But Khan should keep quiet about it, as there is nothing to gain from pointing out the truth.

If Khans going to fight and essentially cheat one of boxings greats in Marco Antonio Barrera, then reveal its your intention to beat Morales then he deserves some sort of critism. (Thank God that fight with Morales is off)

For any true fight fan,the Barrera fight was a disgusting bout...getting stopped after 4 rounds were completed, what a farce. Sky afterwards forget to mention the cut as months pass by and this farce is now remembered as a crowning night for Khan.

I know some dont think he's arrogant but he is. He wasn't after his big loss,he seemed humble and grounded. He's now back to the same place as he was pre presscott and thats why I WANT to see him get knocked out again.

I wish he'd just let his fighting do the talking instead of him/sky and his merry band of followers who will have you believe he's potentially the sports p4p best boxer.

Well he isn't lying is he, i've read plenty of racial abuse directed towards Khan, like he stated it's a small minority, but it still affects him,he's only human after all.
