Dude charles martin got his title because glazkov injured his leg, takam was on 2 weeks notice and no one on this board gives wilder any credit for koing breazalle. Whyte is so bad he hits canvas each time he fights someone who is not complete garbage. Parker sucks to and andy ruiz is a little fatso.
I don't get your argument. They are young guys that are rightly challenging in the division and he beat them when he had to, to get the belts or defend them. Whether or not you like them, he has cleared everyone out, old and young. Now he gets to mix it with the main man and prove whether he is the best of this generation.
Ohhh . . . so you're one of those that just makes out every fighter is awful. The laziest argument in sport. Downplay everyone that a fighter beats. People do the same with Floyd, Canelo, GGG . . . . I guess it's AJ's turn. Joshua has cleared out the division. Whoever they were. Old and young. Now he gets to prove his status as the best of this generation against his only remaining challenger. The main man, Tyson Fury.
No one could prove this. Wlad is retired and I laugh at claims that 38-41 y.o Wlad was prime Wlad. This yeah. Also Fury had out of prime Wlad in the ring, still Wlad then was a bit younger. this yeah.
No the ortiz that faced wilder would have beaten anyone joshua ever faced, given their age. there were 3 fights for joshu to show his class which were Ortiz, fury and wilder and he somehow never got into the ring with any of the 3. he couldnt even ko little fatso ruiz in their rematch. The guy looked like current maidana.
I was going byt The Ring's https://www.ringtv.com/ratings/?weightclass=272 Don't have a personal one, but that seems reasonable to me.
No there were 3 good opponents for joshua and he didnt face any of them. Despite the fact that these 3 somehow managed to get into the ring with one another.
You mean, the guys that were already signed to fight each other? Or the one that took 2 years out the sport? Joshua had mandatories to fulfil whilst they got it on. I've no doubt Ortiz would have been shot and over the hill once AJ got rid of him too. The only fight AJ has left is Fury and that'll happen next. He's had the perfect career and both fighters are about to get it on at their height. Incredible stuff.
It's not Joshua's fault that he held a title, though, and I guess that and least one of Molina and Breazeale were mandatories. And after that Joshua has only signed for fights with ranked fighters.
Like this era is better. Large bodybuilder hometown fighter fights panda and does have a lot of problems. Large bodybuilder hometown fighter fights 39 y.o uncle. Giraffe fights supposedly ring rusty Fury and 40 y.o uncle. Panda despite leg lazy with short reach gave plenty of big problems to the superstar: a very large bodybuilder. 4 th? ranked hometown fighter gets KTFOed by 41 y.o 225? lbs uncle. Definitely looks very strong era.
Yeah. . . Good one. The fighter than didn't sign(Wilder), so he could fight someone he already beat(Ortiz). Tying each fighter up. Meanwhile AJ fulfils his mandatories and goes about his work.
No they will not fight everybody in ajs camp knows that he has zero chance against fury. I am 100% certain that wilder was willing to fight joshua and it was bull**** from hearns site. A guy that faces fury twice is definitely not scared to fight joshu.
So here we have a guy that for the last four years only have signed fights with ranked fighters and has beat 5 of the current Ring top 10, and so called "fans" find faults with this. If you do you're not a fan of boxing, you just like and dislike certain fighters.
