How can so many people be fooled so easily?

    His resume is dismal.
But the division is dismal. so it's not his fault.

Who are you talking about? This board? All I see is people foaming at the mouth to say AJ deserves zero credit. Who's saying Pulev's great?

At least AJ took it to Wlad. Fury's fight was ****. He was afraid to engage.

At least Fury didn't lose 5 rounds to Wlad, and get violently dropped in one round, and get rocked to his core in the other. I mean if GGG goes on to lose to say... Charlo by TKO, but in the process, GGG wins half the rounds, comes within seconds of KOing him, and has Charlo staggering around the ring, for half the round like a shitfaced drunkard, a round in which GGG got dropped. Even though Charlo won by KO against a older more shopworn version, who would you say did better and deserves more credit? Charlo or Canelo?

These AJ cheerleaders are literally manipulated fools the corporate powers laugh their asses at and hold in absolute contempt. The handlers sit around engineering the media training for their next POS ''brand'', running propaganda all over their networks, via the sponsorships etc. They do damage control spin after 'setbacks' like obese SMW's stopping their super hero, or their nice guy cash cow showing his true hypocritical hostility towards the host population that gave him everything he has. And it works a treat.
The little fools run around getting their tits signed by ''Big Joshie''.

The fact people compare the Wlad Fury fought to the one AJ did also shows their stupidity. Two years is a significant difference at the end of your thirties, you monumental mongs. Aging accelerates. Fury absolutely fought a fresher Wlad and one with supreme confidence. He didn't fight a prime Wlad, no sht, but that doesn't mean his Wlad wasn't superior.

And AJ's amazing core resume has also taken more hits recently. Parker has looked like sh1t and is unwilling to fight real contenders. Whyte struggled with Wach and got KO'd by a Povetkin who was going to retire but thought, ''Fug it, I'll just KO this British Orc in Hearn's backyard for fun. I hear he's one of AJ's best wins.''

at least Fury had old but still a bit younger version of Wlad and aboard.
A.J fought almost 42 years old Wlad in the U.K. 41 y.o almost retired Wlad's version.
Who else he had fought, ohh, approx 225 lbs 38/39 y.o Povetkin. LoL, what a close :ibuttmatchup. :D

I really don’t mind or care who wins out of Fury and AJ, but I sometimes want it to be AJ just to see the reaction of blinkered sycophant Fury fans.

Yes how can they be fooled. Pulev would be a top 3 name on Fury’s and Wilders resume. Yet AJ gets **** for fighting him as a mandatory.

Joshua is a conman. Fair play to him he has become a very rich man, what he and Eddie have done is genius.

Ah right. So because a fighter is out of his prime it means he's ****?

What do you idiots not understand about MANDATORIES! He HAD to fight Pulev.

Like others have said, if you're going to bring up age then Fury's win over Wlad means jack, especially seeing as he retired before the rematch could take place where Wlad would have fought differently.

Then there's Wilder - How good is he really? Have you seen his record?

Povetkin at 38-41 is still a good fighter. Wlad at 41 would still be top 5 material now.

    Not always.
But Pulev, for example, was never great or much good in his prime. So at 39, yeah ........

    I think everyone understands that.
And Joshua did what he had to do.
No one's criticising him for that.
But that doesn't make Pulev a better win than it is.

It's safe to say a 39 year old Wlad is still better than any version of Pulev though, nevermind a 39 year old Pulev.
We all saw what a 38 year old Wlad did to a 33 year old Pulev.

Wilder fans are as batsh1t crazy as he is.

They all need serious psychiatric help.

I remember when Holyfield was getting a bunch of sh'aight for Holmes and Foreman like it was a long con too. As though he were not already a truly great fighter by then anyway.

    Funny stuff.
Many fans love to rag on the HW division unless it was an era where US fighters dominated, for example 70s. It's easy. Who did Joe Louis really have to fight in his era? Didn't they call his opposition the bum of the month? Even SMW/LtHW Conn gave Louis fits in their first fight. Like I said, easy.

This is not a bad era and neither was Wlads. There were biased reasons some didn't like L Lewis and even more biases against the K bros. More than a few here will never get over that US HWs (from a certain group) are no longer dominant in the division. The top HWs from the 2000s would have destroyed HWs from past eras. Size matters.
