...when Shane couldn't even say that himself? :think Especially, hearing some of you say you had Shane winning by scores of as much as 116-112. :? Not even Shane believes that, as he admitted it was a close fight in the post fight interview.

Mosley fought a gutsy fight and did better against Cotto than anyone else has to this point. I had the fight for Cotto, but there were a several close rounds that could be reasonably given to Mosley.

They just ignored the mutiple times Cotto stopped Mosley in his tracks with his jab. And countered Mosley with his right hand. Cotto won every single battle that night. Shane got on his toes and looked as if he was changing the fight but he still got hit the same clean and flush and only landed a few good clubbing right hands and some body work on Cotto throughout the whole fight. He landed one good counter left hook. Cotto countered and hit Shane CLEAN AND CLEAR countless times.

Well said.. it was very close.. I thought Cotto had the edge though.. and judging by his performance in the 12th he thought he'd already won it..

So because Shane did not say he won you conclude that he REALLY lost? What logic is that?

Shane is just a respectfull and gracious man. So if he started crying you would have said nothing to the guys who think shane won?
He said ''it was close''. And it was.

Because his words, demeanor, and attitude after the fight indicated he knew he lost the fight.

Respectful and gracious, he is. But nodding in agreement upon hearing the scorecards of fight where some claim he was "robbed," he wouldn't be.

It's not Shane Mosley's style to bark over a fight.

I actually scored the fight a draw. I had the Cotto winning 6-5 going into the 12th(as did Lederman). In the 12th, I thought Cotto pretty much pretty much ran the whole time as if he had the fight won. Mosely pressed the action, and landed a few good shots. Somehow, Lederman gave that round to Cotto, I gave it to Shane. However, being that the judges all had very close scores, I don't have a problem with the decision. I think Mosely believes that he won, I also believe he doesn't want to fight Cotto again. Complaining that he won could possibly lead to a rematch in this situation.

come on cotto had the better of the exchanges of this fight some rounds were close but cotto in every round was landing the cleanest shots the most effected shots even Mosley looked defeated in the ring it looked like cotto was a puzzle that mosley could not solve...

This was true in the early to mid rounds. Mosely looked he was ready to go at any time. However, he started to rally down the stretch. He was impossing his will on Cotto and had him backing up in the later rounds.

Mosley definitely became the aggressor later in the fight. But still I feel Cotto won the 11th and 12th rounds both. The 11th round clearly in my opinon. The 12th round is debatable, but it appeared to me Cotto landed the harder, cleaner shots. Shane having a fighter known for being aggressive on the back foot doesn't automatically earn him the round.
