I'm 23 years old, since i was 11 years old ive trained and ive competed in sport, mainly athletics, former Merseyside Champion, qaulified for the English Schools. Ive not competed seriously since i was 17-18 years old, but ive never stopped training and never became clinically obese. Ive always kept in trainning, weather that be gym, when times have been bad and i have not been able to pay for the gym, i will train in my garage and on the streets, ive been in the boxing gym on and off.....i have not stopped. Why are you making special rules, for boxers... That is ok for them to become Clinically obese..? Its not ok for anybody to become clinically obese, and heighten the risk of some very serious healthy issues. I don't think there is a person here, that will seriously think its ok. I'm not judging Prince Naseem Hamed.. I'm not judging anyone.. Whats their to be judged..? I'm telling you, and everyone esle..!!!!!!!!!! Its not ok to become clinically obese, no wonder we are a nation who loves and backs losers, maybe that's why Ricky hatton was liked so much. Because he let himself go and live a losers lifestyle in-between his fights....which guess what used to happened to him in-between fights..? He became overweight.. Some people say this played apart in his dramatic loss to Manny Pac. It is not ok to become clinically obese, there is nothing to judge, there is nothing to debate about, there is no argument here.. There is only one right answer There is only one person that is right here.. And that is me saying, it is not ok for anyone to become clinically obese. Prince Naseem Hamed, retired years ago. His profession is no longer a boxer, no longer an athlete, he is a family man. That does not mean it is ok for him to become clinically obese.. Its setting a bad example..
When it comes down to it tho,it's personal choice. Being fat is not for you,so you keep in shape. If someone is happy with their size then why should we care. Aren't fat people more jolly anyway?
You're reading FAR too much into this Primadonna, its not a reflection on the nations attitude to losers, or a sad inditement on our society its just about one man living his life as he sees fit (as you are free to live yours). You'd think he was out drowning babies in his spare time or something.... I've just had a thought, we could play that drinking game. Everyone has to have a shot each time Primadona mentions the phrase "clinically obese". Hic!!
Or crippling people in his car ok too far... The guy lived the life of a pro boxer for many years, he's happily married with kids...leave him alone...if he wants to be fat let him be fat
Does it really matter how fat, thin or for that matter long his hair is? He was potentially one of the greats, he didn't make the most of his talents but that's not a crime either. If your're worried he might cost a few quid I doubt he uses the NHS anyway.
**** me you shocked me there pal. I had you down as bein about 12. Did you go to a 'special' school?:good
Duran used to blow up enormously between fights and then boil down to lightweight. Hatton does the same because he idolizes Duran (that's true, you know, he copies him). Some would argue it gives the body a rest between fights. Take a look at Duran's longevity.
i blame america, the lure of double quarter pounders which you were unable to buy over here at the time really took their toll on naz. he'll be doing bad elvis impersonations next, i had a look in the general section before and theres fat elvis impersonators everywhere...
The guy can do what he bloody wants. If he wants to eat and drink to his hearts content after fighting for multiple World Titles and earning an estimated fortune of £70m let him. Im sure he isnt concerned about your health. Its his life and his hard earned money.
Its one thing to be into keeping in shape , I'm in the gym five days a week but its only for an hour or so each time , I have a life. Pros spend there entire life worrying about training , nutrition etc ( apart from a few obvious exceptions ) so its hardly surpiring when they jack it in they let it go to pot.
