Because his opposition level has been extremely weak. Stiverne is the only decent quality guy that he's fought, and now he gets the pleasure of rematching a badly faded Stiverne, so that afterward, he can go on anothe bum of the month tour for a couple years.

 

People used to say, after he became champ, that Deontay is gonna learn on the job, but this guy doesnt look like making any progress at all. Which is weird for a fighter with close to 40 pro bouts and an Olympic bronze medalist. I think this is his ceiling. He's either gonna catch you with a hard punch or he's gonna lose on points, or worse against top competition, cuz he aint ever gonna win a decision with that boxing abilities. Or lack of
