How can the Heavyweight division considered to be anything other than utter crap?

    Indeed..
I really like the brothers, i have been supporting them for some time now, but i just don't get why some of their fans are such morons, they're just as bad as the haters imo :verysad..

    :-(

David Tua doesn't have the kind of style that is effective at that late stage.

What about Michael Grant? He's also 39 years old and never lost a fight in the 90s. But he has lost already to the weakest top 10 fighter today.:deal

He was a prospect in the 90s, he got KTFO against the lineal champ and was also badly dominated by Mccline...
Grant was a good fighter and a legit contender in the late 90s and early 00s..

Right! So if Grant was a legit contender in a socalled "great " era then why is he not a top 10 fighter in this socalled weakest division in history? He's even younger than Vitali and also much younger than both Foreman and Holmes when they won world titles against socalled stronger opponents. Even 40 year old Witherspoon made the 90's top 10 for three years. Why cant these great 90's supermen make a little dent today?:deal

Vitali, Foreman and Holmes are all ATGs.. It takes a great fighter to be relevant despite being past their best.. Grant is not in that catagory, he never moved out of the "contender" area and was not really the same after his 3rd KO lose..
Witherspoon didn't beat any belt holders in the 90s and got himself in the top 10 by fighting C-level fighters at best.

agreed, **** division these days, never has there been so many fat out of shape part time fighters as legit contenders....it's embarassing as a boxing fan, I tell friends and casual fans to avoid the heavyweight division with hopes they'll take head and not become boxing haters because of the embarassing display in 99 percent of heavyweight fights, even the title fights.

There are plenty of up-and-coming fighters such as:

    1) Seth Mitchell (24-0-1) 18 KOs
    2) Tyson Fury - (17-0) 12 KOs
    3) Denis Boytsov - (30-0) 25 KOs
    4) Alexander Ustinov - (26-0) 20 KOs
    5) Mike Perez - (18-0) 12 KOs
    6) David Price - (12-0) 10 KOs
    7) Deontay Wilder - (21-0) 21 KOs

There were several contenders in the past few years that weren't bums, tomato cans, etc... There were good quality fighters. Several of these fighters from above are big fighters and the new generation of "Heavyweights". Some of them are Olympians (i.e. David Price and Deontay Wilder). Some of them just "look like heavyweight champions" like Seth Mitchell and Deontay Wilder.

If the Klitschkos beat these guys we will hear the same excuses. Regardless if the fighters they beat are actually good fighters.

Successful older boxers are uncommonly rare and not the norm. And even boxers like Foreman and Vitali, despite being successful in later life, had declined dramatically.

    Are you really that stupid?
