How can The Ring magazine rate A Green above R Steiglitz in the SMW ratings?

    Anyone with any sensible answers, who arent taken in by everything the Ring says?

    'Cause of their overwhelming bias and stupidity. I mean, Nonito Donaire is their #4 p4p fighter. Mosley was three, before the Mayweather fight. THREE. Self-serving horse ****.

    Ratings are supposed to be based on results and Steiglitz has achieved more than Green.

    I agree that is wrong also.
    Goes to show how biased their ratings are, and how many people buy into them and use them to rate their favourite fighters.

    I have to agree.
    Mosely is a good fighter and willing to take tough fights, but if you break down his win resume, it dosent sound quite as good. He has one excellent win over Oscar and then its Holiday, Margarito (who we dont know if he could have cheated in his career) and a shot Vargas and shot Mayorga.
    I keep preaching to people the fact that if a fighter isnt in the public American eye, there is a belief that they are no good.

    Green was outpointed and close the get ktfo in that fight with miranda
    never fought anyone of note since that
    Stieglitz went to Karoly Balzsays backyard who was undefeated and highly regarded and destroyed him
    Green would lose to Andrade too
    i feel its still close but Stieglitz should be ranked above Green

    I agree 100%. How this rag can have a bum who lost to Glass Jaw Miranda ahead of a legitimate World Champion in the rankings is anyone's guess. :lol::rofl

    The real question should be, why Lucian bute is number 1? He lost to Andrade the first fight, and won the second, how does it make him number 1?

    I agree with this. I really don't see the supposed Golden Boy bias some do, it's just biased towards American born or based fighters massively, most of whom work for Golden Boy or Top Rank. The p4p rankings particularily are massively biased.
