All bull****..Not hard to find an article on either side of the fence....that doesnt take away from the fact that my original statement was:
Manny Pacquiao cannot be discussed seriously above 130lbs.....and he can't be..

You don't need to be a boxing historian to be a boxing fan.

What is just DOWN-RIGHT HILARIOUS is that these Pacquiao Fans go on & on about what he did earlier in his career as if it was some kind of monumental accomplishment... They act like what FMJ did at 130lbs & 135lbs is just complete bull**** or even non-existent.

    Are you serious?

    MABx2
    Moralesx3
    JMMx2
    Hatton
    Cotto

Always comes in shape, Always gives a good show, Always pays his respect to the fans and who does his best to entertain the crowds, conducts himself with class and usually goes after good fights.

    ???

Fighting Margarito doesnt change any of that. Every fighter takes easy fights here and there, at least when Pac does it, the guy hes fighting is outweighing him by 20lbs.

If he goes on to fight Mosley I will be dissapointed, but honestly, even then, as pissed as I will be, it will be only two fights. Hard to find a fighter that hasnt taken opponents here and there on the political side of boxing instead of the guts side.

jmm have a long career and has been arguably better when he went up to 130 and 135. pacquiao has come from a more lower division so by your standard, pacquiao is way past his prime now and shot. pacquiao did not even have the luxury of being a boxer (stylistically) like barrera and jmm was during their early careers. there was a reason why barrera became more of a boxer type than the aggressive one that we saw in his younger days. barrera might not have been at his utmost physical peak nor prime but he was at that point regarded as one of the top boxers on the planet. souple that with pacquiao going-up in weight and with unpolished skill compared to now, what pacquiao did in demolishing barrera was quite impressive.

pac hatton was at 140. 140 is hatton's ideal weight. he was undefeated in that division.

Just because Barrera was the favorite doesn't mean he wasn't past his prime. Look what happened with Calderon-Segura.

And he would have beat his ass too. Gatti had the skill of a ****** stuck in a locked closet.

That was plenty to beat the best version of Pacquiao who had nothing but a high workrate...Gatti would've laughed off the bs and punished the ladyboy.
