so you think you are really knowledgeable about boxing that people should believe what you say?

and also, for you what is the really the true essence of the sport? probably skin color and ethnicity, eh?

Wait wasn't Mosley meant to fight Berto, but the Haiti earthquake caused Berto to pull out of the fight. And this was around the same time Mayweather-Pacquiao negotiations failed - therefore Pacquiao quickly moved onto Clottey (Paquiao was getting ready to run for congress and wanted to fight earlier in the year). Therefore Mosley was free to fight and Mayweather entered the picture.

But to the OP's question. Pacquiao has entertained us and given us good fights. For most of the fights fans have said Pacquiao would be beaten. It is his last 2 fights that the majority picked Pacquiao.

Only fight I would be critical about is the Margarito fight - in my opinion the fight should have never been for the jr middle weight title. 150lbs for a vacant title...

you proud yourself of boxing history yet you have no clue what most people were saying when pacquiao started moving up in weights.

let me help you with that mr. boxing guru, does this phrases ring a bell.... "he wont carry his speed and power as he goes up in weight", "he will crumble when he tastes the power of a true welterweight", "he is one-dimensional", etc...

but look at where is now and how he proved us all wrong... you claim to be a true boxing fan yet your words only shows hate and bias against pacquaio. no matter what the man does you will always find a way to diss his achievements.

We often hear the name of Pacquiao whenever we talk about boxing, I believe we can't deny the fact what he does now somehow put some people to even like this sport. I think true boxing fans do respect, appreciates and recognize every athlete in boxing. Haters or certain fighters fans has no right to claim that term.

How can you not support him? Fought and beat the very best at the lower weight classes, always exciting. Now has fought in 5 divisions in his last 7 fights smashing bigger guys in entertaining displays. The guy doesn't have to be fighting, he's had alot on his plate, running for congress and now being a congressman. Yet he still chooses to fight with his legacy sealed, and still goes all out to put on a show for the fans. Compare him to Mayweather, who's been doing **** all outside the ring except making trouble, yet has only managed 2 fights in 3 years, one being an absolute farce. You can tell he's fighting for his fans and love of the sport.

I can't see how any real boxing fan can't NOT be a fan of Pacquaio, even if its just a passing interest. The more I see of him the more amazed I get. Most times I see a boxer throw a good combination, it's like they're doing it from muscle memory and throwing at where they think the opponents head/body will be in a milliseconds time, but Pacquiao makes it look like he's adj u s t i n g with every punch, such is his speed and reflexes. I'm also a fan of Mayweather as a fighter, but I really don't want to be thinking 'what if' in 20 years time. The sport of boxing NEEDS these two to fight, regardless of their 'legacies'.

Why do you think you have the knowledge? Your posts make it look more like a WWE fan yourself.

I don't get that Logic where *****s would insult Pac fans by comparing them to WWE fans when their boy is the one who actually did WWE in his career.

    Ain't that *****?
