    What are you, ******ed?
Holmes went on to defeat Mercer EASY, go the distance with Holy, arguably beat McCall, and be effective for years. Just because Tyson blew him out of the water doesn't mean he was a shitty fighter.
and Spinks was well established at heavyweight, he beat Cooney, beat holmes once, and then Holmes "lost" a close decision to spinks again, which I think Holmes won.
He was a serious contender. Tyson ruined him, that's why he didn't do more at heavyweight.
So shut the **** up :finger

What's the big ****ing deal? What are you talking about YOU were the one who responded to my post, I was only replying.

I couldn't care less about facing current/future/past belt holders, Bruce Seldon was a belt holder ffs, is that supposed to count for something?

People don't perceive the 80's as weak because of Tyson. The 80's had been going for 5 years before Tyson, didn't you get the memo? It was weak, people point that out about Holmes reign let alone Tyson.

Anything that followed the 70's would be weak is just a cop out, put the 90's guys in the 80's it's still a higher level of competition.

Nice argument, ******. Don't know why you hate Mike.
So what do you have to say about Tyson's other wins? Because those wins were certainly very good. Berbick, Thomas, Smith, Rudduck twice, Botha, Golota, Seldon, Tubbs, Bruno, Carl Williams, Tillis, Green, and Biggs.

I agree, watching a prime Tyson being KO'd by bums, cruiser weights and fat slobs is all the truth we need to show he was nothing.

    Hahahaha

Your bum boy being KO'd in his prime by a fat journeyman is proof enough.....his pathetic losses after are even worse.

    Keep living the dream son.

Tyson had drug issues, issues with his promoter, and just wasn't focused when he lost to Danny Williams, Kevin McBride, and Buster Douglas.
    Period.
You're just a simple hater, with no other point of view.

Boo hoo, Mike was not a man and can't be blamed for losing to everyone who mattered and several bums.

Keep living in the past son, we all feel sorry for you.

Speak for yourself, *****. Tyson was shot when he got beat by McBride, Williams, and Lewis.
And Douglas certainly wasn't fat, he was in fantastic shape for the fight against tyson, he was great that night. Tyson's lack of conditioning and training lost him that fight. simple as that. he came back to defeat rudduck, stewart, and bruno later on after Douglas (I think), so that just proves it was a horrible night for Tyson.

It could be argued that he wasn't focused or prime in any of his losses, but most fighters could say that about their losses. Fact is that only Holy and Lewis who beat Tyson could claim to be truly on his level because Douglas surely can't.

I wouldn't put good money on Holy or Lewis beating the 1988 version of Tyson either, he really was stunning in his prime.

Easy to pour scorn on someone that's got a few losses though....people on here do the same to Jones all the time. Could do the same to Ali too I suppose if you were truly ****ing stupid.
