Just a while ago China's first world title fight was broadcast in the country. On the day it was the top sport story on most Chinese sport sites and trended pretty high on Chinese Twitter. If you look at Yahoo China now you can still see remnants of the fight trending high in the sport section. Notice that Xiong Zhaozhong is still the hottest trending figure in China right now. The fight was also held in a 40k seat stadium. http://sports.cn.yahoo.com/ Anyway, with all the positive buzz coming out of China I can't believe boxing fans aren't at all curious in the ratings for this. Boxing seems to have seriously landed in China thanks to this fight and nobodies wondering how many people watched in a country where 500 million viewers is considered normal. Anyway, does anyone know of any websites that list TV ratings for China or anyway we could find out how well it did?
