How can you blame Floyd for choosing Ortiz!?!?

    The only reason pac looked "bad" lately is because his opponents have been absolute stinkers. Mosley threw about 300 punches and never slugged, Clottey threw 400 punches and did a Clottey.

    Regardless, Pac won 36 rounds in his last 3 fights (not counting bull**** Mosley KD)

    But bac to Ortiz, Ortiz is good but had Manny picked him for November, *****s would have been like white on rice with the "cherrypicker" comments.

    with pac fighting marquez, tell me, who else is a credible opponent at 147? berto? mosely again? move up n fight cotto or marg? considering the situation. ortiz is a credible opponent and a more live underdog than pacs last 3 fights. boxing fans can hell be fickle. jus go through the forums see how many great fighters have according to these keyboard warriors either "ducked" people or "cherry picked" people or are "shot" or "exposed" or have a "glass jaw" its moronic, be greatful we got mayweather and pac and all these good fighters to watch on telly right now.

    Well, when you consider the fact that he has stuck to the same procedures that he and Mayweather (and every other boxer on the planet) have been accustomed to for their whole careers, it's pretty clear that it's not been him who's not wanted this fight.

    Khan has very little chance either.

    The Ortiz fight is decent, but it has to be followed with a Pac fight.

    I see what your saying rico and to an extent agree with you.

    But which fight would not be a cherry pick for floyd apart from pac? I share your frustration at floyds bull**** but what other fights are there out there?

    Surely this is a more dangerous fight than pac fighting clottey or mosley earlier this year??

    Any fight apart from Pacquiao, is a cherry pick. But yes, out of a pile of **** (because that's what it is compared to a Pacquiao fight), Ortiz - a Maidana left over (lol) - is probably the best that can be pulled out. But at the same time, he is still an inferior opponent than what Cotto, Clottey and Margarito were when Pacquiao picked them.

    From Floyd's PERSPECTIVE, nobody can fault him for PICKING Ortiz. It's LOW RISK... HIGH REWARD... He gets what he wants another PAY DAY... :nut

    Now from a boxing fan's perspective that's a totally different story... :hi:
