No individual is responsible for the fight not happening. Each side, Floyd and manny, created diversions to avoid the fight. (I personally find manny's public avoidance of blood tests far more suspicious and guilty of evasion than anything Floyd has done, but that's another story). Ultimately neither of them were willing to make the necessary compromises for the fight to happen. Is a shame, but oh well.

I don't think it's fair to compare divisions titles with the guys back then. During the era of Leonard, Benitez, Hagler and Hearns, 3 Division champs were at the peak. Hearns was the first in history to win titles in 4 divisions. Now you got ****ers who have 6, 7 and 8 LOL. Times have changed. Not the same.
