Oh, is this when we start hyping up this mismatch and try to convince ourselves it's worthy of our time and money? Okay, you first.

lol isn't it funny that the only fights that aren't considered to be "mismatches" are against other fighters that aren't even in his division?

don't blame Floyd for being lightyears ahead of his peers.

This post is really the one which needs to be read.

There are things Floyd does which I disagree with, but as a fighter I've got nothing but respect. He's a great champion and takes on live dogs; people coming off consecutive wins or dominating performances.

The only way Floyd could ever receive Universal Respect would be if he did something that was dangerous for his health. For example, if he fought Ward @ 168. Everyone would give him props leading up to the fight, where he would certainly be stopped. People want the man to lose so, so, so bad.

He's 36 years old and isn't close to his best at 154, not even when he was much younger.

If he isn't all that anxious to go back up there, I can't really blame him.

Shane was ranked #3 PFP in the world when Floyd fought him. Fact. Many people were picking Mosley to win, including JMM, Emanuel Steward, among others.

Shane was considered a very live opponent until....after the fight. Then he was 38 years old.

Again, it's so convenient to say Floyd fought DLH, Mosley, and/or Cotto after their prime. Floyd was literally calling DLH and Mosley out for

when he was fighting around 130 and 135. He wanted to fight them for the exposure and money. They wouldn't accept the fight until they were...out of the spotlight...and he was in it. Funny how that works. And now Floyd's a cherry-picker for not being able to force another boxer to fight him? :rofl

    GTFO here. KTFO6 :happy

Explain to me how this is an excellent worthy match up when Guerrero just recently moved up two weight divisions after surgery, and went life and death with a limited Turkish club fighter and faded down the stretch versus Berto. Getting tagged with uppercut after uppercut. Choosing to fight on the inside, even though this was the only possible way Berto could win. And this was proven in the later rounds. Tell me how wonderful his ring IQ is.

Tell me how, after all the talk in the past about opponents not being worthy because they haven't sold enough PPVs or haven't done this and that on his level...how is Robert Guerrero "worthy"?

List the makeable fights at 147 you'd rather see and then we can have a real discussion.

This ducking of 154 and 160 **** is ******ed, though.

tell me what other WELTERWEIGHTS that are more worthy than Guerrero or would put up a better fight @ this moment?

    i'll wait...
