I agree that "cherry pick" may be too strong of a word, but he does take the least risks he can get away with IMO.

Instead of fighting Margarito, Williams, Cotto, or even Berto when all were top fighters at 147, he lures Hatton up from 140 and then "retires" for several years.

When faced with one of the biggest fights in history vs. Pacquiao, he suddenly starts making accusations of PED use and demands about pre-fight testing - something that had never been an issue for him in nearly 40 fights. Meanwhile he fights a faded Mosley and Ortiz - who weren't necessarily "bad" opponents IMO, but were far less highly regarded than Pacquiao.

He's willing to fight a faded Cotto at 154, but when faced with an even bigger challenge in Alvarez or Trout, he decides to move back down to 147 to fight Guerrero - who is a decent contender IMO, but again, the course of least resistance.

What do you consider "Mayweather's division"? The only division he's fought in for more than a year was 154.

When was Floyd. Calling Oscar out in his prime? When Floyd was at 135 Oscar was at Jr Welter ..I really want to know exactly when this happened ..

And people picked Mosley to win really like who ?

For someone who had called out the likes of Mosley and Oscar it's highly convenient that he could only secure a fight with him until they were long past their best ! Actions in this case speak louder than words .

Floyd said he wanted to fight Naz and Oscar in like 2001.

To be honest, Pac can't either without it being seen as a cherry pick... Lets not be unrealistic

Yes, but Arum never gave him the fight he wanted. The Oscar fight was the ultimate reason why Floyd left Arum.

Did you just compare a shot Margarito to Martinez?
