i really dont understand how what mayweather is requesting is not a standard within the sport for world title fights.

There is a reason why olympic standard drug testing is done at a random time. Its so its harder to cheat. Pacquiao is requesting that the test is done at a fixed time.....

u know what,if albert pujols said i dont wanna take this test b4 this and that time blah blah, there would be an uproar in baseball....they gonna try to drag this out until mannys body is clean...keep thinking that the man is clean...that trainer ariza knows about steroids and conditioning athletes to beat certain tests...how foolish of pac...after reading this u have to start doubting his past performances for what they have been since moving up to 140-147 tainted

Manny making a stink about this does nothing but make himself look guilty of hiding something.

Boxing should have stricter testing for title fights.

And maybe Floyd knew about his superstition and called for the test for that reason? Who knows. Superstitious people are not reasonable in that regards. WalkWithMe. You around? Want to explain this to them?

I agree. With what has happened over the last decade I'm sure there are several athletes that cheat which the public is unaware of. I remember my roommate telling me in 04 there was no way Alex Rodriguez was on something. Random testing is what caught him I think.

Who cares? Steriods don't make you a great boxer anyway. Fans make WAY too big a deal out of this ****.

yeah, obviously mayweather set up a wire tap in pacquiaos gym and overherad pacquaio saying "i don't mind blood tests after a fight but screw the random ones 30 days before...".

Please. It doesn't take a wire tap to find stuff like this out.

the reason why any boxer would take steroids (not that pacquiao necessarily does...) is because they believe the competitive advantage they get outweighs the huge negative affects of being caught.

how the hell would mayweather have found this out? has pacquiao ever been asked to provide a random blood test before a fight previously.Tin foil hat time. are you messing with me? (honest question)

Boxing is a small community. Sparring partners make the rounds, etc... I'm not saying this IS the case, but it is certainly possible Floyd knew it and played that card knowing about it. I have no idea myself. No tin foil hat needed.

fair enough. i get the point about boxing communities etc. but this seems something pretty unique and something that would be unlikely to come up and get passed around. But you're right, we both don't know.
