I think Wilder is already past his prime physically.

 

He seems to be regressing every fight so it wouldn't surprise me. He hasn't put in the work to hone his craft so once he starts to lose his speed and natural explosiveness he's going to start facing some major problems.

 

For his legacy, name and pride, Wilder needs to fight one of the top 10 HW this year. Washington doesn't count and Stivrne, he already beat so he needs an Ortiz or even a Breazealle. He would probably KO both but we just needs a better name on the resime.

Not only was the Wilder-Washington bout exciting, but the event had two exciting opening matches with Breazeale vs Ugonoh and Harrison Vs Hurd. You can't buy this quality of boxing with an order of Fish and Chips.
No wonder FOX announced a 2.5 million viewer number of Wilder-Washington. Damn good numbers.
