I used to hate Froch. After seeing him back up all his talk with action, I became a fan. I'm certain he lost to both Dirrell and Kessler. But so what? They're both very talented fighters. Froch always makes an exciting fight and gives his all. He's great for the sport. I'll be rooting for him against AA.

+1. He got q big mouth but win or lose he backed it up in the ring. Still think he will lose against Abraham but I will keep on watching his fights nonetheless. He always wants to test himself against the best opposition, that's a choice and attitude I respect.

 I'd have to agree. I haven't heard many people refer to Froch special either. We all know his limitations, but he's a solid fighter and most of his fights are interesting to watch. I'm sort of a fan.

carl froch is tough enough to earn the respect of anyone he fights and awkward enough to be effective. i thought this would be a sure ko for aa until i watched both fighter's last fight. froch should have beaten kessler. froch fought better than i thought he could off his back foot and by carl's own admisson...didnt pull the trigger when kess opened himself up.

aa looked god awful against someone who can box. if carl can resist the urge to trade, he can win this fight.

as far as special? who gives a **** about special? results matter. i picked dirrell and thought he won. but carl gave a good account of himself and i feel he is even money against arthur.

the question is, what is so special about arthur? the man can put his fist through a concerete wall...but so can a few guys at the bar im about to go to.

i'll edit to note that kelly is not one of those guys i'm meeting at the bar before you ask

Froch is a ****ing warrior. He doesnt just say he will fight the best. He actually does. Look at his pre-S6 record. His last 2 fights were against lineal LHW champ Pascal and Taylor (against who he was underdog).

    He won both.

I don't think there are many people who think he is a special fighter. The ones who do think that are deluded.

I don't like the guy but you can't fault his willpower, determination and his overall ability on a world level.

He thinks he is better than he is, is a bit of a ***** and hasn't exactly made new fans with his deluded comments since the Kessler fight which he still claims he was robbed:patsch

However, he deserves respect as a fighter and I hope he beats Abraham on Saturday.

Well, he also showed he can last 8 rounds with a completely shattered jaw hanging off of his face against a big puncher. That's pretty special.

I like both fighters by the way.

BS. Two words. Joe Mesi. He's a good example. However, J Taylor stayed around for a long time even though he couldn't clearly beat the competition.

There's no special effects to his game. But he's tough, has a special mentality and a lot of intangibles. He's a natural fighter! which gets him much further then someone who's more talented then he his, but hasn't got the same mentality. I hope people start to appreciate what Froch does. He's very deceptive. I bet most of his opponents are surprised when they get in the ring with him compared to what they see beforehand.

He did not lose to Dirrell and he will fight anybody, unlike most of the top fighters.

I do think he gets ko'd by AA, though.

He comes to fight and is willing to face anybody what's not to like about that? I'm far from a Froch fan but I respect the hell outta him as a fighter and wouldn't be surprised if I do become a fan as I already am a fan of other Cobras(Hearns, Curry, Ezzard). He isn't a special fighter like they were but you don't get where he's gotten by being mediocre and taking him lightly isn't a good idea just ask Taylor I bet he knows who Carl Froch is now lol. No disrespect to JT but my point is that Froch isn't someone to sleep on just look at his record he is 3-1 against Dirrell,Taylor, Pascal, and Kessler. I hope AA doesn't take him lightly as Froch is the wrong man to take for granted. I hope he smashes Abraham but I respect both warriors though I prefer Froch.
