Pacquiao destroyed Oscar and Hatton in a way Mayweather didnt, then Pacquiao was arranged to take the Cotto fight.

All this happend before Mayweather vs Marquez.

Pacquiao KOed Hatton AFTER Mayweather announced the fight with Marquez.

Mayweather / Pacquiao was considered a given after the Marquez fight, and the timing would have been perfect, but Mayweather injured his rib and postponed the fight.

its easy to assume mayweather is scared... but in reality, floyd is being patient, waiting for the right moment, and highest amount of money

Mayweather is out of love with boxing, remember he retired rather than rematch DelaHoya who was an easy 30m dollar pay day.

He came back for 2 reasons, firstly the money and secondly the adulation. He is an attention junkie, and the way he gets it is by being the best undefeated fighter in the world.
The Pac fight will happen IMO, when Floyd wants it to.

Even assuming that's true, it doesn't really get any bigger than it is right now, though. If he waits much longer he's going to lose more on the "people getting bored" + "fighters getting older" side than he's going to gain by waiting. There's no extra margin to be gained by waiting on this fight; all the people who are going to be interested are already interested.

**** really??? Two three letter words... IRS and EGO... He needed money. His ego couldn't take the fact that Pacquiao was diminishing him and TAKING all the air out of the room. :thumbsup

Floyd fans don't like Floyd they are ego maniacs who think they know everything about boxing. They don't care about Floyd just about being right or wrong.
Floyd makes them happy with his cherry picking as a 2-1 favorite or more and they fail to watch the film and see Manny is faster both w/ his hands and feet today. Fact watch and time their punches and speed side to side and in and out using nano seconds or a mayan long count.

He's intention at that time is to fight Pac, getting the limelight and thinking it's an easy fight and saying

, there were words about it even Sr's. I believe even Hatton at one time is not really sure if he could land a fight with Pac thinking Floyd might beat him to it.

Then round TWO came, ped's was thrown all over by the trainer who's fighter he abandoned lying flat on the canvas.

Eventually not one intend on facing the same, he lost his balls.
