How can you tell if your a southpaw or Righthanded?

    I believe anyone can fight either stance. Just depends on which way you start out. Boxing is pretty unnatural as far as the coordination and movement involved so which ever way you learn is going to be more comfortable.

    fight whatever your feet feel comfortable in, i think footwork is the most important aspect of the stance.

    learning orthodox first will help you even if you eventually decide on southpaw.
    kind of an "understand thy enemy" kinda thing.

    I agree, if you're naturally able to use both hands then train as a switch hitter. Not alot of them about so it will be a big advantage

    Which hand do you jab better with? That should be your lead hand, especially if the other hand has more power.

    So if you jab better with the left, but have more power in the right, you are a right handed fighter.

    If you jab better with the right, but have more power with the left, you are a southpaw.
