Firstly Ward's layoff was of his own making. He made a series of bad decisions that wasted a couple of his prime years. And since when is looking to prep properly ducking? I would have favoured Ward in that match up but would have rather have seen a prepped Golovkin take him on. That and a Froch fight would have been great, no?

I've said I think the same level of prep before taking on an elite champ is not only acceptable but the smart thing for a fighter to do. With that in mind Chavez and Froch are a lot more impressive than Cotto and Khan or Smith and Barrera.

It's funny how you make excuses for Ward - layoff - but cut Golovkin absolutely no slack. It confirms you as someone who can't be objective.

I dont think it's hans unless he's playing a character. Hans isn't the type that blocks people.
